System Requirements

The system requirements for the Download player vary, depending on the number of channels/zones that it is due to output.

Any Windows based Standalone Desktop PC/Laptop/Netbook
Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista or Windows 7 Operating System
1GB RAM
1 Ghz AMD, Intel or equivalent CPU
5 to 10 Gb free hard drive space for music downloads per channel *
Direct X compatible analogue or digital sound card per channel
The onboard sound card (headphone socket) is normally OK for short distances (less than 10 meters) between the PC and the audio system input. For longer distances, or installations within electrically noisy environments, one of the following may be required:
- unbalanced to balanced converter
- external sound card with balanced outputs
- Audio over Ethernet sound card
Display resolution of 1024 x 768 or better
