How To: Add Library Tracks In To Playlist
To add a track into a playlist you need to know how to:
- Search the library of tracks
- Add library track(s) to the playlist
Search the Library of tracks
Using the search window (see
How To: Search The Media Library
how to do this), select the track(s) that you want to add to your playlist.
Add library track(s) to the playlist
Once you have the track(s) that you want to add into your playlist visible in
the Search Window, you need to add the track(s) into the playlist. This can be
performed in any of the following ways, depending on your preference:
Note: Please make sure that above the playlist window (the window to the left) you have
the correct playlist type selected. i.e. If you have Live selected, the tracks will be
added into the playlist that your customers/clients are currently hearing. If the Editor
playlist is selected, then the tracks are added to this playlist window.
Add All Visible Tracks
If you want to add all of the tracks that are shown in the library search window, this
can easily be done.
By selecting the Add all tracks from the library to the current playlist button
(),
all of the tracks visible in the Search Window (to the right) will be copied into the
selected playlist.
Add The Selected Track(s)
If you only want to select one, or a selection of tracks, from the library window,
rather than all of them, this can be done too.
Click on the track that you want to copy from the search window and the track will
appear highlighted. If you want to select more than one track, this can now be done by
holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and selecting the track(s) that you require.
By selecting the Add the selected track(s) from the library to the current playlist button
(),
all of the selected tracks in the Search Window (to the right) will be copied into the
selected playlist.
